For more than two decades, I have dedicated my life to social justice, education, cultural preservation, and community wellbeing. My philanthropic work spans global organisations such as World Vision, Save the Children, Amnesty International, Médecins Sans Frontières, and the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, reflecting a sustained commitment to protecting vulnerable communities, children, women, and the environment.
This same commitment drives my leadership of SunRay Literacy Charity, which I founded in 2014 after the Philippine Typhoon Haiyan in 2013. Through SunRay, I supported more than 600 children (2014 -2026) with education, sports, health, and community empowerment programs, integrating arts‑led social impact with direct, long-term support for families in Barangay Benolho and beyond.
As a scholar, cultural video ethnographer, and founder of SunRay Wearable Art, I transforms creativity into action. Every artwork I create helps fund SunRay Literacy Charity programs, turning cultural storytelling into tangible opportunities for children and local communities.
My mission is simple and urgent: to keep the light growing through education, creativity, compassion and empathy, wherever it is needed most.
