Every day, SunRay Literacy Charity stands beside children and families who face food insecurity, limited access to education, and barriers to wellbeing. Our feeding program is more than a meal, it is a lifeline. It strengthens growing bodies, restores dignity, and creates a safe space where children can learn, play, and thrive.
The children and the youth pictured here represent the heart of our mission. When they gather for food, they also gather for hope – hope for better health, stronger communities, and brighter futures. Through our integrated approach of community empowerment, health and wellbeing support, educational assistance, and sports development, SunRay provides children with the nourishment and opportunities they need to grow with confidence.
But we cannot do this alone.
Your support will provide:
- Proper nutrition to fuel their bodies and protect their health
- Sports equipment and uniforms that give them dignity and pride
- Educational resources that strengthen literacy and learning
- Safe training spaces where girls can grow in confidence and teamwork

Girls Volleyball Youth Team
These young Girls Volleyball Youth Team represents the strength, resilience, and determination of young women who rise above daily challenges to pursue sport, education, and wellbeing. These girls train with discipline and heart, often with limited resources, yet they show up, ready to learn, ready to grow, and ready to lead.
For many of them, volleyball is more than a sport. It is a safe space. A pathway to confidence. A community that believes in their potential. Investing in these girls is investing in a stronger community. When you support their team, you support their dreams — and you help create opportunities that last a lifetime.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Project cost for 2 years (2026- 2028):
Your support will help SunRay Literacy Charity to achieve its goals and mission for the next two years. The funds will be used for the following projects.
1. Individual Sponsorship and literacy backpack (Education/Community Empowerment, Health & Well-being) -$2, 000.00
2. Basketball Youth Training -$2, 000.00
3. Feeding Program (health check for youth and young mothers) – $2, 000.00
4. Sports Empowerment (basketball uniforms, training, coaching assistance and project coordinator) – $4, 000.00
Grand total budget: $10,000.00
