At SunRay creativity opens to new pathways of learning
SunRay Wearable Art offers a vibrant suite of creative services from freelance arts mentorship and curatorial guidance to exhibition development, art product marketing, and women’s business empowerment through hands‑on workshops and mentorship programs.
Every artwork, every workshop, and every creative collaboration carries a deeper purpose: to help fund and sustain SunRay Literacy Charity’s education, health, and community empowerment programs.

Ligaya Garden — Growing Resilience, Knowledge, and Community
Ligaya Garden began in 2015 on Kaurna Country in Gawler South, starting with a single strawbale bed and a simple desire to live more gently on the land. What began as a small backyard experiment has grown into a thriving, joyful ecosystem, a place where food, herbs, fungi, bushfoods, and community wisdom flourish side by side.
Over the years, Ligaya Garden has helped us reduce household costs, strengthen ecological resilience, and reconnect with the rhythms of Country. It has become a living classroom, offering practical learning in sustainable gardening, herbalism, ecological living, and community preparedness, echoing the spirit of shared knowledge reflected throughout the garden’s writings and resources .
Rooted in respect for Kaurna land and guided by a commitment to healing and working toward a better future for all , Ligaya Garden continues to grow as a space where independence, creativity, and community connection take root.

SunRay Literacy Charity (SLC) is dedicated to igniting minds and spirits through the power of education, health and wellbeing, sports, and community empowerment. Inspired by the meaning of SunRay — Jelina’s name — the charity champions equal access to learning and sports development for children and families facing disadvantage.
Through the support generated by SunRay Wearable Art, creativity becomes part of the mission. Funds raised from art sales and creative services sustain SunRay’s ongoing projects, ensuring that education, wellbeing, and community empowerment continue to reach those who need it most.
