SunRay Literacy Charity Philippines (SLC) aims to build brighter futures for underprivileged children aged 5-18 years, targeting the vulnerable members of the small village of Benolho Albuera Leyte, Philippines. SLC aims to empower these children to break the cycle of poverty through the combined power of individual sponsorship, health & well-being, and sports and community empowerment.

The charity is committed to the comprehensive development of individuals. By integrating sports and community empowerment initiatives, they aim to promote physical well-being, teamwork, and discipline, nurturing camaraderie and improving the overall quality of life for the individuals they serve. In partnership with CSG Kapteens, SLC has assisted over 100 children and 30 families in the small village of Benolho Albuera Leyte, Philippines. Presently, they are seeking your support.

Project and cost for 2 years (2024-2026):
Your support will help SunRay Literacy Charity to achieve its goals and mission for the next two years. The funds will be used for the following projects.
1. Individual Sponsorship and literacy backpack (Education/Community Empowerment, Health & Well-being) -$2000.00
2. Basketball Youth Training -$2000.00
3. Feeding Program (includes health check for youth and young
mothers) – $2000.00
4. Sports Empowerment(Support for basketball uniforms, coach assistance and project coordinator) – $3500.00
5. GoFundMe fees – $500.00
Grand total budget: $10,000.00
